Gloucestershire head coach Richard Dawson and his players are helping the county’s coaches prepare for the new season with a set of free online workshops.

Run in partnership with the Gloucestershire Cricket Board (GCB), Dawson and members of his squad including captain Chris Dent and bowlers David Payne and Tom Smith will offer their insight into a range of topics from building successful teams to the best ways to develop modern batsmen, bowlers and fielders.

The programme is being coordinated by Gloucestershire coach developer and county age group coach Luke Sellers who will co-host the live events which get underway on January 28.

He said: “With the national lockdown having postponed clubs’ pre-season plans we wanted to try and do something to ensure coaches can hit the ground running with their players once restrictions are lifted.  Richard and his players will offer a unique insight that will benefit coaches of all levels and we are hugely grateful for their support.”
