Yorkshire Tea National Cricket Week is a programme of cricket-themed activities, created by national children’s cricket charity Chance to Shine and led by cricketing heroes including Mark Wood, Michael Vaughan and Heather Knight.

The activities include fun, cricket training sessions to develop their physical skills as well cricket-themed lessons to support children’s learning in subjects like English and Geography.
2020’s National Cricket Week marks the seventh year of partnership between Chance to Shine and Yorkshire Tea as they continue to inspire young people to play cricket through a host of fun, cricket-themed online activities. The resources, are accessible to children of all abilities, whether they’re at home or at school and will require minimal specialist equipment.
With many pupils still at home, parents are also being encouraged to take part in National Cricket Week with their children and encouraged to share their activities on social media, using #NationalCricketWeek, for a chance to win some proper amazing prizes. Every day, parents and teachers will have the chance to win cricket equipment and supplies of tea to keep them powered the week!
Throughout this week, there will be videos featuring the amazing ambassadors published each morning at 9AM on the Chance to Shine website and social media channels. There will be chances to win some fantastic prizes including lots of Yorkshire Tea!
