1. PAIRS SCOREALONG (on paper scoresheet)

10th March 2021 – 7 pm to 9 pm

Pairs Cricket is usually played by junior players to an adapted version of the MCC Laws of Cricket, which gives the young players the best possible chance to participate in all parts of the game.

There is no standard set of regulations for Pairs Cricket, but we will be using a format of 8-a-side, 16 overs per innings, pairs shall bat for 4 overs, starting at 200 runs and losing 5 runs per wicket. Full regulations will be explained on the day.

We will be scoring from a match narrative, using an adapted Box style scoresheet that you can download and print at home. The match narrative will be presented on screen, as we all score along at the same pace.

16th March 2021 – 7 pm to 9 pm

Play Cricket Scorer Professional (PCS Pro) is scoring software used in both the professional and recreational game on Microsoft Windows ® based laptops and can be downloaded free-of-charge from PCS Pro download.

  • Play states
  • Recording the toss
  • Scoring options

3. DUCKWORTH LEWIS STERN IN PLAY CRICKET SCORER PROFESSIONAL

In this webinar, the use of Duckworth Lewis Stern while scoring with Play Cricket Scorer Professional will be demonstrated.

Play Cricket Scorer Professional (PCS Pro) can be downloaded free-of-charge from PCS Pro download, so that you can follow along with the demonstration on your own computer but we won’t be learning how to score with PCS Pro in this session, so if you are new to PCS Pro, you might like to attend the Getting Started Session with PCS Pro session on the 16th March in preparation for this one.

In this webinar we will be starting with a match that is already in progress, which will be available to download and import for anyone scoring along at home.
