It’s the final countdown!

JUNIOR players across the county are preparing for a hectic end to the season after the announcement of details for several Gloucestershire Cricket Board play-off days and finals.

Sunday September 5 is an especially busy day as a series of knock out events come to an exciting end, including the Marsh Commercial U16 T20 which will conclude with a complete day of action at Rockhampton CC.

The knock out action will be as follows:

10am semi-final 1: Golden Hill v Cheltenham
1.30pm semi-final 2: Dumbleton v Thornbury

5pm final

Cirencester CC, meanwhile, will on the same day host the finals of both the Marsh Commercial U16 T20 Development and the Vitality U19 T20 Development in Association with Stuart Turner.

The U16 action on the top pitch will be as follows:

10am semi-final 1: Cirencester v Carsons & Mangotsfield

1.30pm semi-final 2: Bradley Stoke v Hatherley & Reddings

5pm final

The main pitch will host the U19 competition:

10am semi-final 1: Knowle v Poulton

1.30pm semi-final 2: Kingsholm v Carsons & Mangotsfield

5pm final

Also on Sunday September 5, Frocester Cricket Club’s St Peter’s Field will be the venue for two Gray-Nicolls Gloucestershire Youth Cricket League finals.

The U13 title will be presented after a play-off at 10am between North winners Cheltenham and Knowle, who won the South section.

And this match will be followed at around 2pm by the U15 play-off between North winners Great Rissington and Rockhampton, who secured the South silverware.

The Bristol County Ground, meanwhile, will be the venue on Saturday September 11 for the final of the Vitality U19 T20 in Association with Stuart Turner.

This is how the action will unfold:

10am semi-final 1: Twyford House v Cheltenham

1.30pm, semi-final 2: Dumbleton v Bedminster

5pm final
