Here’s our latest look ahead to GCB and club-related cricket activities across the county, from Alveston to Woodmancote, for the next seven days.

Please remember that under current Covid regulations, spectators are not permitted at matches. At clubs that are able to offer hospitality facilities, non-players must observe all Covid procedures and sit in allocated areas.

SATURDAY MAY 1

  • All of our major men’s competitions kick off today with games in the West of England Premier League, the Gloucestershire County League, the Bristol & District League, the Stroud League, the Cheltenham/Gloucester/Forest of Dean League, and the Cotswold District CA

SUNDAY MAY 2

  • Gloucestershire under-18s are away to Millfield School in a friendly (11am)
  • The GCB under-11 Performance League continues with these matches: Stoke Bishop v GCB Zonal Jets, Winterbourne v Rockhampton, Bristol v GCB Zonal Colts, Cirencester v Dumbleton, Golden Hill v Frocester, Hatherley & Reddings v Cheltenham (10am)
  • It’s lift off for the GCB Women’s League with the following games – North Div: Corse & Staunton v Frocester, Frampton-on-Severn v Huntley. South Div: Bath II v Bradley Stoke, Golden Hill v OB Westbury (all 2pm)
  • The ECB’s National Club T20 kicks off today with several WEPL triangulars. Winterbourne host Thornbury and Stroud, Cheltenham welcome Gloucester and Painswick, and Bedminster travel to Weston-super-Mare where they also clash with Congresbury. Matches are due to start at 10.30am, 1.30pm and 4.30pm
  • Frocester are following in the footsteps of Captain Tom and holding a 100 based fundraising day with members taking 100 catches, running 100 runs, facing 100 balls, completing 100 laps around the boundary … all for NHS Charities Together

MONDAY MAY 3

  • Gloucestershire Women continue their ECB T20 campaign with a double header against Oxfordshire at Cheltenham College (11am and 3pm)
  • The GCB’s Women’s Soft Ball League gets underway with matches in all four groups (6pm starts). Bristol: Twyford House v Hawkesbury Upton. Cheltenham/Cotswolds: Cricklade v Cheltenham, Hatherley & Reddings v Woodmancote. Forest of Dean: Bream v Newent, Huntley Harriers v Huntley Hurricanes. Stroud: Cam v Tetbury, Frampton-on-Severn v Stroud, Frocester v Stinchcombe Stragglers

TUESDAY MAY 4

  • Gloucestershire Over 60s v Wiltshire at Swindon CC (12.30pm)

WEDNESDAY MAY 5

  • Gloucestershire Over 50s v Worcestershire, at Hatherley & Reddings (1pm)

THURSDAY MAY 6

  • Gloucestershire Over 70s v Worcestershire, at Birdlip (1pm)
  • There are three matches tonight in the Women’s Soft Ball League Bristol group: Bradley Stoke v Thornbury, Coalpit Heath v Marshfield, Frenchay v Hambrook (6pm)
