LAHIRU Perera cracked an unbeaten 101 to continue his fine start to the season for Bristol Sri Lankans who eased past Pak Bristolians 2nd by eight wickets to stay top of Division Five in the Martin Berrill Sports Bristol & District League.
Perera faced just 69 balls and thumped 12 fours and four sixes as his side chased down a target of 244 in less than 28 overs.
It was the batter’s second ton of the summer and took him past 400 league runs in only five visits to the crease.
Will Stabb (101 not) and David Busby (92) put on 220 for the third wicket for Frenchay 2nds who finally opened their account with a 117-run home win against Brislington 3rds.
Tom Croucher (4-16 from six) and Sonny Reynolds (3-14 from seven) followed up with important spells for Frenchay.
